Whilst half our Year 7 went off to Northumberland, we left-behinds had an activity week so we made a movie…
On Monday, we went to see Star Trek at the cinema.
On our return, we: planned, scripted and photo storyboarded, made baseball caps and “built” the captain’s bridge, filmed, performed, improvised, rushed around a lot, edited, made trailers, posters and stickers…
Creativity across the curriculum?
I reckon we at least touched base in: English, Art, Music, DT, PSHE, Maths and of course ICT.
Worst job?
Collecting shopping trolleys in a downpour.
Moral?
Always double-check your equipment – in the event, the external mike we used with our new camcorder let us down and we had to record all the sound as voiceover…
